Kemper submits third quarter financials
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE LONG GROVE, ILL. – November 17, 2008– Kemper filed its third quarter 2008 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Thursday, November 13, 2008. Kemper posted a combined statutory surplus of $150.0 million. Of this amount, $138.8 million represents Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company’s (LMC) surplus, with the $11.2 million balance posted by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM).
