Lumbermens submits first quarter financials

Lumbermens Mutual Group filed its first quarter 2011 financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company (LMC) posted a statutory surplus of $36.8 million as of March 31, 2011. American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM), a mutual company under common management with LMC, posted statutory surplus of $10.3 million for the same period.
