Kemper submits year-end financials

Kemper filed its 2007 year-end financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Thursday, February 28, 2008. The company posted a statutory surplus of $161.5 million. Of this amount, $150.6 million represents Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company’s (LMC) surplus, with the $10.9 million balance posted by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM).
