Kemper submits year-end financials

Kemper filed its 2006 year-end financial statements (LMC financial statement - AMM financial statement) on Thursday, March 1, 2007. The company posted a statutory surplus of $184.1 million. Of this amount, $173.6 million represents Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company’s (LMC) surplus, with the $10.5 million balance posted by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (AMM).
